Celebrated TV Chef Lands CBS Radio Show On KLSX 97.1

She was hand-picked by Emeril Lagasse as his personal food stylist, her culinary prowess has earned her appearances on countless national television shows, she's served as a regular food correspondent on Fox and other broadcast TV stations, her four cookbooks are best-sellers and now celebrity Chef Jamie Gwen will spice things up by bringing her highly rated Los Angeles radio talk show to 97.1, The FM Talk Station.

"Food & Wine With Chef Jamie Gwen," which will air Sundays at 9 a.m. starting June 29, will be a fast-paced, hour-long celebration of the culinary world complete with food talk, recipes, restaurant reviews, wine finds and interviews with the nation's leading culinary experts, announced the station's Vice President and Director of Programming Jack Silver. Scheduled guests in the coming weeks include Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck and the Food Network's Guy Fieri and Michael Chiarello.

A seven-year veteran of Southern California radio, Gwen is also a popular television personality. She holds the distinction of being one of the top chefs in electronic retailing with her exclusive Command Performance cookware line on HSN and she will make her debut on the Food Network's "Emeril Live" this summer where she will prepare recipes from her new cookbook, "Good Food For Good Times." She also is a regular contributor to a number of top magazines across the country. Gwen is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America and a certified sommelier.
